The easiest, most healthy and most fun way to get to know Nuremberg!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
On our Free Walking Tour you experience Nuremberg's old town with enthusiastic locals. In 2.5 hours, we offer you an entertaining mix of history, legends, fun facts and useful recommendations for the rest of your stay. We cover the main sights such as central market square, castle, churches of St. Sebald and St. Lorenz but also take you to hidden secrets like Island of Love or Weißgerbergasse.
Currently we provide tours in English and German daily at 11.30 am. All tours start at the golden "Schöner Brunnen" monument, next to Hotel Saxx on Hauptmarkt (central market square) where we welcome you with our green and white umbrellas. There is no reservation required at the moment, however, we recommend you to sign up, if you want to stay updated about your tour's status.
The tour is suitable for all ages and can also be visited with a wheelchair, pram or dog. Everyone is welcome! Please make sure you dress accordingly to Germany's ever changing weather, bring water and sun protection. We take toilet breaks and Saturday tours may include a little culinary break.
In the end of the tour, you can honor the guide's efforts with a tip, that may depend on how much you liked the experience. This way we guarantee that every guide will always give his or her best. We're not financed by any external institution so we do depend on your tips. As a guideline you can refer to the value of comparable commercial tours, that cost 8-15€ per person. But also with 1€ you help us continue with this project.

RESERVE OR NOT?
The cool thing about our Free Walking Tour is, that you can just come to the meeting point and join! Generally, there's no reservation required. However, sometimes, it can become quite crowded.
Therefore we recommend to make a booking if you want to ensure your spot. For big groups (+8 people), a private private tour allows you more flexibility.
WHAT WE'LL SEE ON OUR TOURS

Nuremberg has it all! Its 1000 year history ranges from emperors and castles to Renaissance's richness, World Wars and Nazi trials. We show you hidden alleys and famous monuments as well as the local cuisine. Nuremberg is easy to reach on trips from Munich, Passau, Bamberg, Würzburg or Regensburg, but is worth a journey on its own!
