Join us on a delicious journey through the heart of Nuremberg on our Food Walking Tour, where you'll sample the city's most iconic treats, rich in history and flavor. We’ll kick off the tour with the legendary Nürnberger Bratwurst, a small, flavorful sausage with over 700 years of tradition, proudly protected by European Union law. It’s a true taste of Nuremberg’s culinary heritage! As we stroll through the charming downtown, we’ll take in the sights and stop at a historic castle for a brief visit, soaking up the city’s medieval charm. Next, we’ll head to one of the best local bars to savor a refreshing glass of Nuremberg’s renowned beer (or wine if you prefer), perfectly paired with a traditional Franconian pretzel—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This iconic snack is a must-try when in southern Germany. Our tour wouldn't be complete without a sweet ending! We’ll stop for a bite of Lebkuchen, a spiced gingerbread treat that’s a Nuremberg specialty. Fun fact: locals can only enjoy this seasonal delicacy between January and November, making it a rare and special treat for visitors during the rest of the year. Join us for this unforgettable taste of Nuremberg—a perfect blend of history, culture, and of course, food! Included: 1 pretzel from a traditional Nuremberg bakery 3 Nuremberg sausages in a bread roll from our favorite Bratwurstküche ("Bratwurst kitchen") 1 Nuremberg Elisen-Lebkuchen (gingerbread) from a Lebküchner Optional: Stop at a bar for a Franconian beer or a glass of white wine Please note: This tour includes alcohol, meat, and gluten-based products. While we can offer a vegetarian sandwich as a substitute for the Nürnberger sausage, it may be challenging to provide gluten-free options during this walk. Of course, you can choose a soft drink or water instead. Customers under the age of 18 are not permitted to consume alcohol in accordance with German law. Cancellation Policy & Liability Disclaimer We kindly ask our guests to inform us in advance if they are unable to attend their reservation. Timely notice allows us to offer the spot to other interested participants. We also reserve the right to cancel the tour under certain circumstances, including but not limited to: - Illness of the tour guide - Severe weather conditions that may pose a safety risk to participants - Force majeure or unforeseeable events that make the tour impossible to conduct Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such cases, we will inform you as early as possible and try to offer an alternative solution. Late Arrivals Please arrive on time at the designated meeting point. Out of respect for other participants, the tour will start at the scheduled time. In case of delay, there is no entitlement to join the tour or receive a refund. In exceptional cases, the group may wait a few minutes, but this is at the discretion of the guide. No-Shows If you do not show up without prior cancellation, we reserve the right to give lower booking priority or exclude you from future tours. Liability Disclaimer Participation in our tours is at your own risk. We accept no liability of any kind for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss that may occur in connection with participation in the tour. This includes incidents caused by third parties, weather conditions, or the participant’s own behavior. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children. We do not assume any duty of care. Health & Mobility Our walking tours require a normal level of physical fitness and mobility. Please ensure you are physically capable of completing the tour. Pets Bringing dogs or other animals is only permitted with prior agreement and only if it does not disturb other participants. Photos & Videos Photos or videos may be taken during the tour. By participating, you agree that any image in which you appear may be used for documentation or promotional purposes. If you do not agree, please inform us before the tour begins.
