Welcome to Nuremberg Free Walking Tours. This tour was designed by locals born and raised in Nuremberg. Our goal is, to break down Nurembergs history, culture and its architectural highlights in a walking tour of 2:30 hours. You will learn about Nurembergs "Golden Age" in the late middle ages and from the "Dark Age" in the "3rd Reich". You will see beautiful half-timbered houses, churches and the castle. You will learn all about the typicall Nuremberg specialites and where to find the best places to get them. Together we will go to the house of the most important German artist, Albrecht Durer. Listen to stories of the hangman Franz Schmidt, and why he was a feminist. Understand Nurembergs path to deal with the heritage of the Nazi-era and how the city was rebuild after its doom in the WW2. After the tour we will have time to answer all your questions and we are happy to help you with your plans in and around Nuremberg. See you soon in "Naemberch". Route of the tour: 1. Cancellation Policy & Liability Disclaimer We kindly ask our guests to inform us in advance if they are unable to attend their reservation. Timely notice allows us to offer the spot to other interested participants. We also reserve the right to cancel the tour under certain circumstances, including but not limited to: - Illness of the tour guide - Severe weather conditions that may pose a safety risk to participants - Force majeure or unforeseeable events that make the tour impossible to conduct Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel the tour if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such cases, we will inform you as early as possible and try to offer an alternative solution. Late Arrivals Please arrive on time at the designated meeting point. Out of respect for other participants, the tour will start at the scheduled time. In case of delay, there is no entitlement to join the tour or receive a refund. In exceptional cases, the group may wait a few minutes, but this is at the discretion of the guide. No-Shows If you do not show up without prior cancellation, we reserve the right to give lower booking priority or exclude you from future tours. Liability Disclaimer Participation in our tours is at your own risk. We accept no liability of any kind for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss that may occur in connection with participation in the tour. This includes incidents caused by third parties, weather conditions, or the participant’s own behavior. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children. We do not assume any duty of care. Health & Mobility Our walking tours require a normal level of physical fitness and mobility. Please ensure you are physically capable of completing the tour. Pets Bringing dogs or other animals is only permitted with prior agreement and only if it does not disturb other participants. Photos & Videos Photos or videos may be taken during the tour. By participating, you agree that any image in which you appear may be used for documentation or promotional purposes. If you do not agree, please inform us before the tour begins.
